Our Angels in the Sand

Just as Angels names are written in the sand and washed out to the waves, so we release them with love and blessings from one shore to another until the circle of love around our planet is complete.

These Special babies never knew a mother's cuddle. They never knew a softly brushed kiss. They never saw the light of day. They never saw the look of love. They never smiled with laughter. They never grew up to play on the beach. They never got to paddle in the waves.

As their Mum's and Dad's we got to hold them with all the love we had inside. Our tears washed their tiny faces reposed in sleep. Our lips kissed their soft sweet skin. Our voices ask why. We tucked them up snuggly for eternal sleep. Our hearts broke into tiny pieces. We lost our child.

How can….

How can you say goodbye, before you could say hello.
How can you lay her down to sleep, before she could even play.
How can you kiss closed eyes in sleep before they saw the light of day.
How can she lay so silently before she could even cry.
How can her limbs be so still and never know how to run and skip.

How can so many dreams be lost.
How can so many tears be cried.
How can a heart break into so many tiny pieces.
How can such a tiny person make such a huge hole.
How can anything ever be the same.

The poem "How can.." is dedicated to Annabelle. Written by her mummy, Judy, in September 2003.

Our new page is "Guided by Angels". These new born babies have an older brother or sister who was born straight to Heaven to be an Angel. This new page is one of hope and smiles and love, that after a stillborn Angel a new baby can be born into a family safe and sound.

I have updated the Sand Angels Pages. Originally I had separate pages for stillborn babies of mums I had met on Fertility Friend but as I am now on several boards plus get emails from around the world I have made them all just simply Sandangels pages. I also have to upload all the pictures individually so please bear with me as we update these pages.

Due to Fertility Friend and Connected Moms now becoming 'pay to chat' forums I have a new free forum which has boards for those needing support after losing a child. 		Faith Kristine. Born on 5th January 2004 and went to stay with the Angels on 30th January at 30 weeks. Loved daughter of Jill and Ron. Loved baby sister of Tyler. New baby born June 2005
		Matthew. Born to become an Angel 2nd February 2004 at 37 weeks. Loved son of Sandy and Demian. New baby brother, Luke (born July 1st 2005) and new baby girl in May 2007
		Little Dude. Stillborn 25th January 2002 at 25 weeks. Loved son of Kelly and Paul. Little Dude now has a little sister, Hope, (born 17th march 2003.) and a brother James Paul (born 5th April 2006)
		Victoria. Stillborn 15th September 2003 at 30 weeks. Loved daughter of Leora and Jr. Loved sister of Alexandrya and Ryan. New baby due September 2005.

		Quinton. Born 7th May to become an Angel 8th June 2003 at 25.5 weeks. Loved son of Joanne. Brother to Angels, Elliotte and Rebecca
		Elliotte. Born to become an Angel on 9th January 2004 at 17 weeks. Loved son of Joanne. Brother to Angels, Quinton and Rebecca
		Rebecca. Born to be an angel on 21st January 2005 Loved baby girl of Joanne and sister to her angel brothers, Quinton and Elliotte.
		John, Ray and Jimmy. Born 6th Oct 6, 2003 at 25 weeks John and Ray went to stay with the Angels on 9th Oct at 3 days old. On 12th April 2004 Jimmy joined his brothers in Heaven with the Angels. He was 6months, 6 days old. He was never able to get off the ventilator. very much loved sons of Dawn and Joe and brothers to 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
		Samuel. Born 30th November 2003 at 37 weeks. Loved son of Amy and Jeff. How many in this world can say they are Loved by an Angel
		Jordan Matthew. Stillborn on 2nd January 2004 at 39 weeks. Beautiful son of Melinda and Marc. Jordan
		Adnan Basic. Stillborn 20th February 20th 2004 at 35 weeks Beloved son of Selma and Ferid Basic and beloved little brother to Benjamin. Twin boys Medin and Adnan (born April 17th 2005.) We couldn't wait for you to be born. We love you and miss you and think of you every day.
		Julia Nicole. Stillborn 30th December 2003 at 37.5 weeks. Loved daughter of Shari and sister of Emily and Jake. Baby sister Rebecca (Born May 7th 2005) A beautiful angel in Heaven.
		Elsa Naomi. Stillborn 28th February 2004. Loved daughter of Alena and Russ and loved sister to Kharissa, Hauna and Benji. Baby sister Aedra (Born June 8th 2005).
		Anisa Marie. Stillborn on 30th January 2004 at 39.5 weeks Loved baby girl of Stephanie and Jay. Baby brother Junius Bradley (JJ) ( born April 14th 2005)
		Joseph James. Stillborn on 11th May 2004 at 40w 1d. Very loved son of Lori and Keith. "Ten little fingers and ten tiny toes. So very sweet. "
		Molly. Born on 2nd January 2003 at 42 weeks. Very loved daughter of Abby and Mike. Sister to Zachariah Albert (born July 13th 2004) and Noah (Born May 3rd 2006) Psalm 37:4 "Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart."
		Mary Elizabeth. Stillborn 23rd July 2004 at 38 weeks. Very loved daughter of Elizabeth and Vaughn. Baby brother Xavier Zane (born May 26th 2005) and Zane Oliver (Born August 12th 2006)
		Kaira Elise. Stillborn 22nd June 2004 at 35 weeks. Beautiful baby daughter of Terrae and Kurt. Never forgotten and forever loved.
		Archer Nicholas, beloved son of D.V. and Traci, Born 29th June 2004 went Home to be with the Lord July 8, 2004. He was greeted by his sister Victoria Elisabeth who proceeded him by 1 year and 5 months. Archer, you are our Little Honey Bear, and we miss you with all our hearts. 		Noah. Stillborn on 4th June 2004 at 35 weeks. Loved son of Gillian and Ivan. baby sister , Zoe Rachel Arielle (born June 6th 2005) "Playing with angels in Heaven"
		Chase. Born 28th June 2004 and went to live with the Angels 26th July 2004 aged 28 days. Very loved son of Maranda and Eric and adored baby brother of Emma and Erilyn (born 1st february 2006) A gorgeous baby boy who was so lovingly cuddled and will never ever be forgotten. Too precious for this world.
		Jeryd Jamison Page Stillborn 20th July 2004 at almost 41 weeks. Loved son of Andi. A tiny little angel called home to Heaven
		Aidan Peter. Stillborn on 22nd October 2004 at 31 weeks. Very much loved son of Yvette and Damian. New baby sister Devon Joy (born 8th October 2005) So perfect and beautifully made. "We miss you every day.".... mummy.
		Andrew. Stillborn on 2nd July 2004 at 34 weeks. Loved son of Wendy and adored baby brother of Jessica and Joshua and 2 angels. New baby sister, Sara (born August 2nd 2005) Little boy now playing with Angels.
		Kasey. Stillborn at 18 weeks on 13th September 2002 Loved daughter of Beth and Mike. Big sister of Patrick.
		Caleigh Ann. Stillborn 2nd December 2003 at 36 weeks. Much loved daughter of Lauren and sister of Michael and Christopher. New baby sister Caitlyn (born July 7th 2005) Angel smiles and rainbows from above live in our hearts.

		Angels Heart.
		Kingston Beach and the Derwent River, south of Hobart.
		This is Ocean beach at Strahan on the west coast of Tasmania. The beach is 30 km long. The nearest land mass in a direct line latitude is South America.

The background for this page is of the sand ripples at Kingston Beach in Southern Tasmania where I wrote the names of these Special Angels and took their pictures. Though you may shed a tear when reading this memorial site please think of Our Babies with love and say a prayer for them and the Parents, Brothers and Sisters who love them and miss them so much. Grandparents too and Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
